“Small help, strong bonds”: a solidarity network for home and personal services is born

Someone you can trust to look after an elderly parent, a hand with the housework, an urgent repair at home or support in organising a family event: these are everyday needs that often struggle to find reliable, immediate answers. Out of this awareness comes the new initiative by Di Sana Pianta APS, a project that aims to create positive connections between those looking for support and those offering their skills.

A bridge between needs and opportunities

The initiative sets out to bring together families in Palermo and people with specific skills in a wide range of fields: from care for the elderly to home maintenance work, from house cleaning to accompanying people with limited mobility.

This is not an employment agency but a mutual help network that seeks to make the most of people's skills while creating opportunities for social and working inclusion.

Skills at the service of the community

The Di Sana Pianta APS network offers a variety of skills across different fields:

  • Care and companionship for the elderly
  • House cleaning services
  • Carpentry and small repairs
  • Plumbing work
  • Small building works
  • Accompaniment and solidarity taxi services
  • Support for events and table service

How it works

The process is simple and transparent: the association collects families' requests and puts them in touch with the people best suited to meet their specific needs. We personally know every member of our network and this allows us to guarantee professionalism and reliability, building relationships based on mutual trust.

A social inclusion project

The initiative goes beyond simply matching supply and demand: it represents a model of solidarity economy that creates real opportunities for work and social inclusion. Through these “small helps”, “strong bonds” are built that strengthen the social fabric of the city, creating a network of mutual support that benefits the whole community.

How to access the service

Families or individuals who are interested can contact Di Sana Pianta APS to describe their needs. The association will identify the most suitable person, facilitate the first contact and ensure ongoing monitoring of the quality of the service provided.
