The association has not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), as it is not required to do so. For any privacy request you can write to the addresses above.
What data we process
Browsing data. Like any website, the server hosting it automatically records some technical data about visits: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, date and time. This data is needed to run the site and protect it from abuse and attacks; it is not used to identify visitors or to profile them.
Data you send us. The site has no contact forms, newsletters or reserved areas for visitors. If you choose to write to us or call us using the contact details on the pages, we receive the data you give us (for example your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message) and use it only to reply to you and follow up on your request.
Why we process it and on what legal basis
- Running and securing the site: the association's legitimate interest in offering a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Replying to your requests: steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or legitimate interest in replying to those who contact us (point f).
- Complying with any legal obligations, where applicable (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Browsing data is necessary to use the site. Contacting us is entirely optional.
How long we keep it
Browsing data is kept by the hosting provider only for as long as strictly necessary for the security of the service. Messages you send us are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting relationship, and then deleted, unless the law requires otherwise.
Who may receive the data
The data is processed by authorised members of the association and by the technical providers that allow us to run the website and email, acting as data processors: the site is hosted by Aruba S.p.A., in Italy. The data is never sold or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.
The site does not transfer data outside the European Union, except when you choose to load external content, as described below.
Cookies
The site does not use profiling cookies or analytics tools and does not set any cookies of its own for visitors. That is why you are not asked for consent when you arrive.
The site's only technical cookies concern people who log in to the WordPress administration area, that is, those who manage the site, and serve only to keep them logged in. You can still check or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Google videos and maps
Some pages contain YouTube videos and Google Maps maps. They are not loaded automatically: in their place you will find a preview with a button. Only if you press it is the content loaded from Google's servers, which from that moment may receive your IP address and use its own cookies.
For this content Google acts as an independent data controller (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, which participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). You can read how Google processes data at policies.google.com/privacy and how it uses cookies at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
Alternatively, you can open the video directly on YouTube, or the location on Google Maps, using the links on the pages.
Links to external websites
The site contains simple links to the association's Facebook and Instagram profiles and to other websites. It does not use social buttons or pixels that send data to those platforms while you browse here: if you open one of those links, the destination site's own privacy rules apply.
Your rights
You can ask at any time for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15 to 22 GDPR), by writing to info@disanapiantaaps.org or to the certified email address disanapiantaaps@pec.it.
If you believe that the processing of your data breaches the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.
